About
Dark Horse
Dark Horse Equestrian provides a therapeutic equine experience that benefits both adults and children seeking a unique path to self-awareness, confidence, and personal development. Our Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) program offers a stimulating and rewarding experience through interaction with our incredible horses.
Our horses serve as ideal partners for learning, offering natural responses that provide valuable feedback to handlers. This encourages individuals to focus on their behavior and make positive modifications.
Located in the serene surroundings of Strathewen, Victoria, Dark Horse Equestrian invites you to immerse yourself in 'hands-on' horse experiences. Our safe and gentle horses and ponies, combined with our beautiful and relaxing environment, create the perfect setting for Equine Assisted Learning, personal development, horse care, grooming, and groundwork sessions.
EAL sessions last approximately one hour and revolve around engaging in groundwork, grooming, and interacting with our horses. These activities promote positive outcomes and offer a safe and supervised space for the interaction between horse and human.
Only a short drive from Melbourne's CBD, Dark Horse Equestrian is located at 140 Chadds Creek Rd, Strathewen. We welcome individuals of all ages who are interested in spending quality time with our magnificent equine friends. Contact us today to begin your transformative journey.
